The One About Self-Care for New Mommies!
Mothers are the heart of this world we live in. We know that being a mother also means giving up so much of what life was like before having children. We want to remind you that your kids don't need a perfect mother- they need a happy one. Below are some ways to make sure you are the best you there can be!
8 WAYS FOR MOMMIES TO BE THEIR BEST
1. Move Ya Body
Whether it's yoga, a walk or going to the gym for a 30 minute workout - it's so important to get moving!
2. Stay Connected
It's easy to forget about yourself when you're a new mommy + who could blame you?! It's still so important to make sure you set aside time for yourself. Set up dates with friends + relatives you've been missing!

3. Do What You Love
As a new Mommy, you now have the most beautiful priority in the world - but you must also remain a priority! Set aside some time to continue doing things that you love or pick up a new hobby you've always wanted to try.
4. Put the Screens Away
We are all guilty of it - but too much screen time can be harmful to the eyes + brain. Instead, pick up a book + read 10 minutes before bed or take a walk outside for 10 minutes to decompress.
5. Treat Yo'self!
Whether it's a new moisturizer, a new pair of leggings or a treat from your favorite bakery - you deserve to treat yourself.
6. Let It Out
Journaling has been proven to release stress held in the brain. Take a trip to Target + pick out a cute journal that you'll want to write in every night. Spend 5-10 minutes at the end of your day to unwind + jot down your ideas.
7. Strength in Community
Motherhood is something only a mother can understand. Find groups on social media + in your town that you can connect with. Always remember- you're never alone.
8. You Are Loved
"It takes a village" is not an understatement when it comes to raising children. Often times, mothers don't ask for help because they feel guilty. Do not allow yourself to feel guilty - ask. You are allowed to ask for help. This is a great way to bond with friends + relatives.
